The load banks are used for testing and evaluating Generators, UPS, Dummy loads and discharging battery banks. Most of the load banks are forced air cooled. Both horizontal or Vertical ventilation is possible.
Resistive or Resistive and Inductive Load banks can be supplied for Unity,0.8 or 0.4 pf. Load banks up to 12MW can be manufactured with number of intermediate steps. Options like ,Trolley mounted / Air cooled / Selection of load by PLC (Binary Controls) / Remote controlled / ACB Incomer / Sudden Load ,etc are possible as per the customer requirement . The load accuracy up to 5% can be achieved using Nickel / Chromium , Cupro Nickel, or Chromium Aluminium alloys. Depending on the application

Natural air cooled and force cooled Resistive Load Banks can be manufactured from 1KW to 12Mega Watt. Incremental resistance steps with individual contractor control can be provided to give any desired load by using PLC. The elements are formed with metal having negligible temperature coefficient. Special elements are used for load banks operating at 400Hz like aircrafts. Portable and trailer mounted load banks are also manufactured according to customers requirement. The application of resistors can be extended to battery discharging, testing of UPS, Dummy Loads and Generator Testing. All our continuous duty resistors are tested at CPRI, BANGALORE.
